Take your first step towards the stage or screen! 

Acting 1: Core Principles is an intensive short course which introduces participants to the core principles of performing. Located in the arts precinct at Southbank (Melbourne), this eight-week short course will help you develop essential acting skills and introduce you to a wide range of exercises and techniques.This acting short course explores:

  • Physical and spatial awareness
  • Power of presence and creative expression
  • Impulse, improvisation and ensemble practice
  • Text delivery
  • Vocal range
  • Clear and confident communication

Learn to develop the essential instruments of an actor: creativity, expression and communication. Compile your own tool kit of acting skills in a fun and supportive environment.
