Instructions on how to complete the Selection Test are released in early September. Notifications will be sent to all applicants who have completed an online application (either via VTAC or direct University online application). Please note that applicants who have not completed an application in Step 1 will not be considered for entry.
The test assesses each applicant's creative potential and ability to express yourself clearly and distinctively. We strongly advise applicants allow at least two weeks' time to complete the Selection Test to ensure a competitive application.
If short-listed, applicants will then be required to attend an interview as the final component of the application process. For more information please visit Interviews page.
In addition to the University of Melbourne application fee, international applicants will be charged a processing fee of:
- $10USD payable via SlideRoom
