Victorian College of the Arts
40 Years of VCA
Areas of specialisation
No matter what specialisation you choose, you will be challenged at every turn during your time at the School of Film and Television.
In our three year undergraduate Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film and Television), you learn to become a writer, director, and editor; and you make your own film every year. A broad curriculum gives you experience in all the major creative roles involved in production.
You’ll also crew on other films, honing your skills in cinematography, sound recording, design and production as you go. You can choose to specialise in either the third year of the BFA or in our Film and Television Honours degree.
Film and TV at the VCA puts you in contact with creative students from other disciplines too. You’ll work side by side with students from Music, Theatre, Dance, Production and Art – building a network that will help you throughout your career.
