Undergraduate studies

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Contemporary Music) will give you the skills and training needed to become a professional contemporary musician. This course allows you to major in one of two areas: Contemporary Music Performance or Interactive Composition.

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) is designed as an intensive, skills building program across Music Theatre’s principal disciplines of singing, acting and dance  through daily studio-based training with working artists and master classes with international guest teachers.

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Contemporary Music) (Honours) introduces you to practice-led research skills and develops your capacity for devising, defining and managing a major project. During the year you produce a major creative work, or series of works, and a related research paper.

Non-award courses

The Foundation Program addresses the need to provide a course of study for those whose skills show potential but who have not attained the required standard for admission to a degree course in this School. The course is offered in two streams: Contemporary Music Performance and Music Theatre.
