Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre)

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) is designed as an intensive, skills building program across Music Theatre's principal disciplines of singing, acting and dance. You will develop knowledge and skills to adapt to the various requirements of genre and style, and a spirit of enquiry about the artist's capacity to reflect, respond and contribute to cultural and social debate and understanding through their work.  Music Theatre students enjoy regular engagement with leaders in the profession. The course has a strong focus on, and connection to, Melbourne's thriving Music Theatre profession through daily studio-based training with working artists, and industry master classes with international guest teachers. It also encourages the development and performance of new Music Theatre works. Many of our graduates have established careers in commercial music theatre, independent music theatre, cabaret, concerts, recording, working on cruise ships, theatre in education and a diverse range of allied performing arts practice.
