VCA Writing is closely connected to two other artistic disciplines - Film and Television, and Theatre.

Screenwriting is a specialisation for those who have a desire to tell audience driven stories via a visual medium. It covers areas such as cinematic and television writing, adaptation, games and online writing. It forms an important element of all film and television specialisations at the VCA as well as having an undergraduate and graduate program dedicated solely to developing screenwriters.
