Art Short Courses
VCA's School of Art offers a range of non award courses that are designed to introduce people with a passion for visual art to a variety of contemporary art forms.
The courses welcome anyone with a passion for art and an ability to work independently to develop ideas and a portfolio. It utilises the facilities and surrounds of the School of Art, allowing students to immerse themselves at the institution where so many of Australia's leading visual artists begin their careers.
Workshops and part time, year long courses allow students to specialise in areas such as contemporary painting techniques, drawing, sculpture, life drawing and digital art. Courses are taught by practicing artists and VCA alumni with strong connections to the School of Art and art community.
